SUMMARY:
Our client is a rapidly growing U.S. retail company planning to expand their client base internationally in the next month. This position is responsible for the operational and system administration functions that support their eCommerce line of business. They are seeking an experienced Application Systems/ Unix Administrator that is ready to take on the challenge of supporting a suite of higher level applications used to manage their eCommerce environment.

You: You’re thirsty to learn new things and take on new projects. You already have several years of experience as a Unix Systems Administrator, but are ready to step into the application layer.
The opportunity to design and maintain source controls on a new content management platform.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in IT or related field a plus
3+ years of experience in IT Operations and Support
Operational expertise with Unix, Redhat Linux, and/or Solaris
Strong scripting skills required (Perl/Bash/Unix shell scripts)
Must have flexible availability to respond to system troubleshooting • Experience with eCommerce & Content Management Administration preferred but not required
Some experience supporting applications in a s2EE environment.
