QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION
This project will be working on large-scale 3-tiered web applications and/or middleware based on Java and relational database technologies. Must be proficient in development using Java technologies such as servlets, JSP, JDBC etc, as well as web services technologies such as SOAP and WSDL. Candidate must be familiar with database development, and be capable of designing schemas, developing queries, and writing stored procedures. Ideal candidate will also have experience with database and query optimization. .Additional qualifications:
BS/BA degree in Computer Science or other technical field
5 or more years experience in object-oriented software development

Experience in design for scalability and high reliability
Experience writing functional and technical specifications
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Demonstrated ability to lead complex development projects
Proficiency in automated testing techniques and strategies
Strong commitment to software quality
Familiarity with application-level security considerations and best practices
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to contribute to & drive team learning
Excellent communication skills
Strong planning skills and ability to deliver projects on schedule
Proficiency in use of scripting and utility tools such as ANT
Experience with object-relational mapping tools desirable
Experience developing in the MS Windows environment highly desirable
Proficiency in use of software tools such as IDEs, profilers, debuggers, etc
