| You can help older adult victims of crime understand their rights. Senior Rights Assistance volunteers help crime victims recover restitution, understand the criminal justice process, and make their side of the story known to the court. You do not need any previous knowledge about the rights of crime victims; we’ll provide the training. If you’d like to help crime victims, please contact us! We’ll mail you a packet about our program and tell you more about how to get involved. Volunteers must be 24 years of age, able to pass a criminal background check, willing to commit to one year, and available to attend 2-hour daytime trainings once each quarter. We also ask that volunteers have basic computer and Internet skills. Ad provided by Idealist.org |
