web/graphic designer – Seattle

The position we are looking to fill is that of a part-time web/graphic designer. This person would have a good understanding of current industry standard design tools for web and print media. Responsibilities would include but are not limited to, maintaining the brand consistency for our current and future web sites, providing support to our online marketing team by creating advertising banners and html based emails for marketing campaigns, assisting with the development of key branding materials both web and print based for our internal as well as external clients, and creating mock-ups for product and/or web site interface improvements.

Hours: PT 10-15 hours per week

Rate: Hourly �" Based on experience

Job location: mostly on-site, with occasional off-site work

Experience with the following:

• Dreamweaver

• Fireworks

• Photoshop (latest versions preferred)

• Can proficiently hand-code standards compliant CSS and XHTML

• Understand basic JavaScript, XML and RSS feed implementation

• Ability to perform under tight deadlines and take direction well is a must

It would be a bonus if this person had experience with the following:

• ASP coding

• Experience using Flash 8 w/ proficiency in ActionScript

• Adobe InDesign

• Video and motion capture editing

• Ability to storyboard and describe animation and resulting actions

• Having your own software would also be a plus
